Think book club meets hands-on centers! These are one time events, 1.5-2 hours long. Parents and kids attend together and explore activities related to a specific book with other families who have also read the book. Each center can be differentiated to meet a variety of learning levels. The centers include literary elements and connections to other subjects especially science and math. See the upcoming schedule for which books are being offered. (Last semester was Zoey and Sassafras: Dragons and Marshmallows).

These are one time events, 1-2 hours long. Parents and kids attend together and explore activities related to a specific topic. Content varies, but usually includes a read-aloud and presentation as well as hands-on activities related to the topic.

A 90 minute teacher-guided learning time for parents and kids to participate in together. The classes include a lesson and read-aloud, followed by learning activities all related to the topic. Some activity examples include: hands-on science, graphing and measurement investigations, creating a foldable book, group math problem solving (using Cognitive Guided Instruction), process art, sensory tub/table, and nature journaling. These classes meet once a week and can be enrolled in by semester. Topics vary each year.
Ages: 7-8 or 9-11; Cost: $165-220/kid for each semester depending on class
Come have fun while learning to play soccer! This class focuses on building soccer skills in a collaborative environment. This is for kids with little to no soccer experience who want to get more comfortable playing soccer without the competitive game aspect. Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks. The classes are 50 minutes and do not require parent involvement (but a parent is required to stay on the premises.)

Private tutoring and small group math lessons focused on strong foundational number sense built through manipulatives, movement, games, and more.
Suggested Ages: 5-12; Cost: $80-250/session depending on length of sessions and class size; SKU: HOML
